Language education has remarkably undergone a major shift since the advent of communicative approach in 1970s. As English long become world’s lingua franca, to its teaching and learning also witnessed an outstanding breakthrough. This is illustrated by growing figures non-native language speakers that far exceed native ones, entails special status for English. Therefore, different proposals have been made as how should best be approached given various characteristics international communication. One these approaches medium instruction (EMI).
